"My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out."

Timothy Leary

The above quote is one of the truest pieces of advice one can be given in life. DO NOT TAKE THINGS TOO SERIOUSLY! This is exceptionally true for the Role Play World. This "Advice" column is here to take the place of any "Rules or Regulations" you may find on other Role Play sites, as we do not believe in restricting the imagination. That is correct, we have NO rules, only advice.

Drama: We all know drama is inevitable in our world. It comes in many forms; IC vs IC, IC vs OOC, OOC vs OOC. For the Love of Role Play you can NOT escape it. You must accept it and learn how to deal with it. In all honesty drama can be and is fun. Is that not why we all Role Play? For the excitement of a good story? You can not have a good story without conflict, an antagonist, something to fight. Drama is a good thing for true Role Players. If you are new (newbie) the quicker you learn this, the better. If you are a vet and still do not understand this concept you DO NOT belong here!

OOC vs. IC: The ever present battle of keeping your character separate from yourself. It's a difficult task but it is important to always be aware of. Generally role players choose to role play a character they relate to on a personal level. Which makes complete sense, why would you want to be someone you don't like?? Main characters are often characters role players have spent years developing and have come to truly love. These are all good things, until you start letting your real life feelings get to involved. This is often when drama (which should be fun) becomes a disease and it is usually because of YOU. No one likes to admit when they are wrong, but it happens to everyone. If the drama is bothering you, it may be time to take a step back, take a break, and collect yourself. The number one rule of the role play world: "If your not having fun, then your doing something wrong."

Stalking/Bullying/Trolling: People who complain about someone stalking them are stupid. Yes, its annoying. No, there is nothing you can do about it. Haters gonna hate, Stalkers gonna stalk. There is good news however! This is the internet. They do NOT know who you really are unless YOU give them YOUR personal information. So, our advice is DON'T DO SOMETHING STUPID! Always protect yourself when you are online. The same applies for bullying and trolling. YES, it is real but again, the good news is they can NOT get you unless you allow it :D! Keep yourself safe and if you really feel you need help please call the police or go next door and find the closest REAL person! As for Trolls, if they really bother you just don't engage them. They are only looking for a reaction so don't give it to them and YOU win! <3

Rated XXX: When you join this site you are claiming to be 18 years of age or older. Legally, this means you are an adult! This site has no rules or limitations. If you are going to be offended by cursing, nudity, sex, drugs, violence or anything else that may crop up, you DO NOT belong here! Simple as that.

Note from the Editor: We like to remind everyone that we are all human. We all make mistakes and we all have our flaws. You do not have to like everyone you meet, but if you don't get along, for gods sake just get over it and move on with your Role Play lives. Just talk shit about them in private and pretend to respect them to their face. It really is easy.
